Picture yourself walking through the rolling native grasses of the Kansas Flint Hills as our experienced bird dogs work the cover ahead. Suddenly, a dog locks on point. Your heart starts racing as you move into position. A colorful Kansas rooster explodes into the sky, you shoulder your shotgun, and moments later your dog delivers the perfect retrieve. It’s the kind of unforgettable experience that keeps hunters coming back year after year.
Our team takes great pride in managing over 30,000 acres of private hunting land, offering a wide variety of habitat including CRP fields, creek bottoms, shelterbelts, native grasses, crop fields, and waterways. This exceptional habitat allows us to provide outstanding 100% wild bird pheasant and quail hunts, giving hunters the opportunity to pursue truly wild Kansas birds in their natural environment.
For hunters looking for nonstop action, we also offer hunts on nearly 2,000 acres of Controlled Shooting Areas (CSA). These preserves extend the hunting season by supplementing our healthy wild bird population while providing exciting shooting opportunities. Our CSA hunts include a daily limit of six pheasants, with the option to continue hunting after your limit for an additional per-bird fee.
When the hunt is over, you’ll return to our luxurious 5-star hunting lodge to relax, enjoy a delicious home-style meal, and share stories from the day’s hunt. Every package includes premium lodging, three catered meals each day, professional guides, experienced bird dogs, and complete bird cleaning, processing, and vacuum sealing. Our fully stocked pro shop also has ammunition and hunting essentials on hand, so you’ll always be prepared for another great day in the Kansas fields.

Surrounded by the rolling Flint Hills and the fertile Republican River Valley, our lodge offers convenient access to thousands of acres of premier pheasant and quail habitat. Whether you’re planning your first Kansas hunt or returning for another season, our central location makes getting here easy and puts you just minutes from the action.If you’re flying in, you have two excellent airport options.
Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) is just 30 minutes from the lodge, and we’re happy to provide complimentary transportation to make your arrival as seamless as possible.
Guests flying into Kansas City International Airport (MCI), located approximately 2½ hours away, will find a larger selection of airlines and flight times. A rental car is recommended from Kansas City, giving you a comfortable drive through the scenic Kansas countryside before arriving at 777 Hunts.
